Fees: Storage and insurance is charged at £50 per cask per year (minimum 3 years). Exit fees vary by route - see full terms. If bottling, UK Duty and VAT are payable. The volume of spirit will decrease over time due to evaporation ("Angel's Share"). New Make spirit must be matured for a minimum of 3 years, during which time its alcoholic strength could reduce; the product must retain a minimum strength of 40% ABV to be classed as "whisky."

Realising Your Investment: Exit options include buy-back by FMHG, sale at auction via Whisky Bull Auctions, sale to a bottler or blender, or private sale. Each route has associated fees and conditions. FMHG can facilitate sales but cannot guarantee a buyer or a specific price. Full details are provided in the cask purchase agreement.
